Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 August 2026

PagePeek is private by design. Everything runs locally in your browser. There is no account, no server, and no data is ever sent to us or to any third party.

What PagePeek stores

This is stored only on your device using the browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local). It never leaves your browser.

What PagePeek does NOT do

Network activity

PagePeek fetches a page only when you have chosen to monitor it, to detect changes. Those requests go directly from your browser to the site you picked — the same as visiting it yourself. Nothing is routed through us. For pages built by JavaScript, PagePeek may briefly open the page in a background tab to read the rendered value, then closes it.

Permissions

Your control

Removing a monitor deletes its data immediately. Uninstalling PagePeek removes all of its stored data from your browser.
